Buccaneers’ Coach Wants Jameis Winston as No 1 Pick

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is said to favor former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston as his number 1 overall draft pick according to ESPN. Still there’s a lot of time between the scouting combine and the 2015 NFL Draft to be held on April 30.

It seems Lovie Smith thinks Winston could adapt better to the Buc’s offense, playing a similar style at FSU.Jameis Winston passed for 3907 yards and 25 touchdowns last college football season.

If things keep this way and the Buc’s pick Winston then Marcus Mariota could be heading to Tennessee. It’s said that the Browns and Jets could make a move for Mariota.

The Tampa Bay Bucs have betting odds of 100/1 to win Super Bowl 50, let’s see if this changes a bit with their draft picks.
